Last month, Microsoft released the Windows 10 Technical Preview for a handful of WP devices, mainly the Lumia 630, 635, 636, 638, 730 and 830 phones. If your handset is not among those, you’ll be happy to hear that the first week of April should bring the second test build, which will be supported by the majority of existing Windows Phone devices.
Sadly, the Lumia 930 and HTC WP devices are absent from the list. Why? As far as we know, Microsoft is trying to track down and fix some bugs unique to the Lumia 930.
On March 27, Microsoft posted the list of Windows Phone devices which will most likely be able to run the second test build. The list is, of course, still subject to change, but you can take a look at it below:

While we do understand that some of you might be excited about getting Windows 10, we would like to advise you to think about whether you really want to install the preview on your phone. The OS is a work-in-progress, rough around the edges, so it might not be such a good idea. Not to mention that some features, such as dual-SIM and Messaging (no search, no spam filters, etc), need to be fixed up quite a bit.
