Microsoft Devices Group recently revealed its newest Windows Phone smartphone – the Nokia Lumia 530. The Lumia 530 will be available in both single and dual-SIM versions and it will go on sale in August, at the price of around €100.
The Lumia 530 comes with a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and 512MB of RAM, and runs Windows Phone 8.1. It sports a 4in FWVGA LCD display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
The smartphone has 4GB of built-in storage, easily expandable via a microSD card slot (up to 128GB), and you also get 15GB of free cloud storage. On its back is a solid 5-megapixel fixed focus camera, but it doesn’t have a front-facing shooter. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPRS. The phone is powered by a Li-Ion 1430mAh battery and it will be available in a range of colours – bright orange, bright green, white and dark grey.
Microsoft also announced a new accessory for the Lumia 530, called the Bang Mini speaker (by Coloud), which will set you back for €19.
