HTC has unveiled its latest smartphone, the HTC Butterfly 2, that will launch on September 2 in Taiwan, and then head out to Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The handset comes with a 5in Full HD display and a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.5GHz, and backed by 2GB of RAM. You can get the phone with either 16GB or 32GB of built-in storage, that can be further expanded thanks to a microSD card slot (up to 128GB).
In the front is a 5-megapixel camera with a BSI sensor, while in the back there’s a 13-megapixel camera, also with a BSI sensor and a 28mm lens. Both cameras can record full HD videos (1080p). Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC. The phone has a 2,700mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
