An iPad is a fantastic device, but like other tablets and smartphones, it can run out of memory really quick. Thankfully, there are things you can do to free up space on your iPad and today we’ll go through a couple of them.
Delete Unnecessary Apps
It’s a well-known facts that apps take up way too much space on our devices. Our advice? If you don’t need them, delete them. To do this, go to Settings>General and then tap Usage (on the right side). Select the desired app, Locate and then Delete App.
Remove Photos in iMessages
Photos are another thing that can eat up the space on your iPad and what most of us forget is that we have pictures in iMessage threads. Save those that you wish to keep on your computer or any cloud drive, and then delete them from your iPad by tapping Messages, swiping from right to left and then selecting Delete.
Delete Your Music
If there’s a song you haven’t listened to in a while and you know that you won’t listen to in the future, delete it. Open up the Music app and go to list view. Swipe from right to left on a desired song, then tap Delete in order to remove it.
You can also use apps to help you clean up some space on your iPad – one of them is iCleaner (free), that cleans out any unwanted files on your device.
