Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve heard a number of rumours and seen a number of photos of the upcoming HTC Desire Eye. Yesterday, new photos showing off the alleged handset were posted on Twitter, which you can see below. The device will be similar to the recently released Desire 820 – white with a red frame.
Rumour has it that the Desire Eye will come with a 5.2” display, a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, and 2GB of RAM. In terms of storage, we’ll get 32GB, and the phone will be powered by a 2,400mAh battery. The Desire Eye will also come with an IPX7 certification and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI. What’s different about the Desire Eye is that it will sport a regular 13-megapixel front-facing camera, instead of an UltraPixel one.
HTC is yet to confirm the specs and the pic, but there’s an event scheduled for October 8, where the company is expected to launch a new camera. There’s a chance that we might get to see the new selfie-focused Desire Eye then, too. As soon as we have more info, we’ll let you know.
